Letter Boxing

Thank you Ashely Harkness for introducing us to the world of letterboxing! We absolutely love it! On July 30 we set out on our first adventure. We went to Berry Patch farm and Admas County Regional Park to collect our first sets of stamps in our handy dandy letterboxing notebooks!! We had so much fun!!

For those of you who have not heard of letterboxing, I'll try to explain. You choose a stamp that represents you or your family, you get a notebook, an inkpad and then you go to the following website, type in your zip and you'll find all sorts of clues to find a letterbox. Follow the clues and once you find the letterbox, you get to stamp the stamp into your notebook and then you leave your stamp in the book that you found and then put it back for the next letterbox junkies. It is so much fun. It is like a scavenger hunt. My kids loved it!! Go to www.atlasquest.com to read more about it and to find letterboxing adventures near you.

Sorry about the pics. Don't know what happened with my camera! Here are the kids and I at Adams County Regional Park after finding our second letterbox.
We got Cameron hooked while he was out visiting us. Here he is with the kiddos.

This was so much fun! I recommend it to everyone. It takes you to places that you have never been and places you would probably never go because you didn't know about them.
Happy Hunting!!!

Our kiddos love letterboxing too. What a fun and cheap way to spend family fun time. Hope all is well!
